The crashing issue youre speaking of is exclusive to the 300 series AMD cards and seems to be an AMD driver bug (this is why the modified DLLs seem to fix it).All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries.I have i5 4590, gtx 970, asrock h97 pro4, corsair ram 1600 mhz 2x4gb and win 7 64 bit.
Batman Arkham Knight Stutter Fix Series AMD CardsWhen i start the game, it goes quite good for the first 10-15 minutes, than serious stuttering start to happen (especially when driving through city and flying) and fps falling to 10-12 in certain moments. Ive already tried to increase max paging file size, tried different graphic settings but nothing seems to solve this. Some people reportedly saw a dramatic increase in performance after doing that. While in game my ram usage is only 65-70 so why should i add more ram since while in-game there is still a 30 unused. While in game my ram usage is only 65-70 so why should i add more ram since while in-game there is still a 30 unused There is a paging issue that causes Windows to go to your page file with this game even though it shouldnt. Ive noticed youre pretty active here as well as in the WB support forum. Is there a general list of solutions or workarounds for users in lieu of an actual patch, which seems less and less likely to come Off the top of my head, theres borderless windowed mode, setting to low or turning off specific settings (particuarly Gameworks features), installing on an SSD, using modded DLLs originally made for The Witcher 3 to fix crashes with AMD cards ( ). There have been a few threads discussing issues, the problem is either they are very large (like the BMT tweak tool thread) or they fall off the first few pages and get forgotten. I definitely recommend running borderless window, it seems to fix a LOT of issues with the game, especially on laptops. But I have had performance problems for years with fullscreen going back to when DX11 first came out (happening on both AMD and IntelNvidia systems). Some people report installing the game on an SSD helps, but I found this to make zero difference in my case. I do have an SSD, and I have my OS on it, but when I moved AK over to it it made zero performance difference. That said, I do have 16GB (currently, upgrading to 32GB once my employment is sorted out) and a fairly fast hard drive. The only card that can run Gameworks smoke debris without a helper physx card is the 980ti. And the 980ti can only handle it at 1080p, at 1440p and higher even it needs a helper physx card. On the AMD side, the 290390 should be able to handle these two options (AMD cards cannot do the smoke or debris at all).
